Today I used the new Nars Wanted Palette to create this eyeshadow look, with a bit of glitter to make it pop. This palette is one of my new favourites in my collection; the colours are stunning but also really pigmented. The Wanted palette is perfect for anyone and is also going to work excellent for Valentine’s day!
First I take the shade Seven Heaven on a Zoeva 221 / Soft Crease Brush and apply this as my transition shade, to help any other colours I apply on top blend out smoothly.
To darken up the transition I apply Shadow Hill using the same brush and blending that out seamlessly.
I wanted to bring some red into the eyeshadow look so I blended Temptress from the Nars palette using the same brush again and applied that deep into my crease, bringing it onto the lid slightly.
Mixing Mendoza and Wicked game together, I apply this all over my lid using a Zoeva 237 / Detail Shader brush, this brush really helps to pack on colour precisely and gives a beautiful pigmented finish.
Now darkening up the look I used the shade Coconut Grove, which is the darkest shade in this palette and applied that using a Zoeva 231 / Luxe petit crease brush, focusing the colour in the outer corner and bringing it into my crease very slightly. To make sure that my shadow is all blended nicely, I took my Zoeva 228 / Luxe crease and blended over any harsh edges.
I really wanted this look to be super glamorous and have tonnes of glitter, so I mixed together a pink and red glitter to create a custom pink/red, perfect for Valentine’s Day. I stuck this to my eye using Glitter Fix Gel by Paint Glow (really helps minimise fallout) and applied that using a Morphe M156 Brush).
Doing one of my classic eyeliner tricks to make my eyes seem larger, I apply my NYX white liner just above my crease. It helps if you apply dots with your eye fully open to see where the best place to draw the line would be. I also use this for my winged liner as it made the eye makeup really pop and look dramatic. To finish my crease line off I apply Urban Decay glitter liner in Catcall over the white line to give my eyes the wet glitter look.
To really open up my eyes and make them appear bigger I use a Nyx pencil waterline liner and apply this to my lower waterline. Finishing the eye makeup before lashes I used my Nars eye paint in the shade Interstellar under my lower lash line then blended it out so it had a softer look.
For my eyelashes I use the Maxfactor Masterpiece Max Mascara on my top lashes and Maybelline Great Lash Mascara on my bottom lashes. This is my go to mascara routine at the moment. I then apply Ardell Natual Demi Pixie Lashes, these are some of my favourite lashes to use, cheap too!
Bronzing my face I always love to use Benefit Hoola Bronzer using my Zoeva 127 / Luxe sheer cheek brush, it looks great on pale skin tones. They even do a lighter version if you think this one would be too dark on you. I personally prefer the slightly warmer look on me.
So I can add a little more colour to my face I use the Kevin Aucoin Blush in the shade Cool pink on a Zoeva 101 / Luxe face definer. I love this blush on my skin tone but also I love that you can create a custom shade as it has an ombre effect. You could even use this as a bronzer if you used the far right side.
The Sleek highlighting palette is of my favourite highlighting palettes at the moment. Not only is it super pigment and gives your face that gorgeous wet look on your cheekbones but it is also super affordable, only £9.99! I apply this using my Zoeva 105 / Luxe Highlight Brush.
If you want a super creamy, long lasting lip liner – Nars is the way to go. I have recently filled my lip collection with the majority of the colours the sell. I used the Nars velvet lip liner in the shade Belle Mare.
To finish this makeup look off I used this beautiful Plum shade from the By Terry Velvet rouge liquid lipsticks in the shade Bohemian Plum. These are super long lasting and are really nice and creamy so they do not dry your lips out when the dry down. If you want a really precise line for your lipstick then I would recommend using a lip brush. I like to use the small end of the Morphe M156 to create the perfect lip shape.
