I start off with a warm yellow shade from the NYX Vivid Brights palette* on a Zoeva 221 brush and apply this to my crease, bringing it up towards my brow bone. I bring the shade out to elongate my eyes and then blend the shade underneath my eye, blending it to the outer corner of my eye.
I wanted this look to be really warm and have a sunset vibe, so I use the shade Charm from the Jeffree Star Androgyny palette on the same brush, also applying this to my crease – blending it out with the other shade. I blend this orange shade under my eye, keeping it slightly closer to my lash line than before. Finally, I apply the shade all over my lid using my finger (this is the best way for getting the most pigmented application) and blend out the edges using my blending brush.
Now I darken the eye shadow I use the dark red shade, Fetish from the Androgyny palette using my Zoeva 221 brush. I apply the shade to my outer corner blending it out to elongate my eyes and then focus the shade more into a flick shape on a Zoeva 231*brush, blending it very carefully out, trying to avoid taking the shade out too far. If you do accidentally blend the shadow too far, then take some lose powder on your beauty blender and clean up the edges. I also blend the shade on the outer third of my lower lash line to connect all the shadows together. Then to give my eye shadow a slight halo effect, I apply a small amount of red shadow to my inner third of my eye, blending it out very carefully.
Going back in with the orange shade Charm on my Zoeva 221, I blend a soft line downwards under my eyes. It may seem strange but this just gives a guideline for our glitter later on, making it easier to get a straight line when applying the glitter.
Taking a Kiko shimmer shadow* in a copper shade, this is one of my favourite copper shades. I apply this all over my lid using my finger. This is to help my copper glitter I’m applying next to blend together nicely.
Using a Zoeva 237 I carefully pack on Glitter Shaker Copper glitter* to the centre of my eyelid. You will need to use a glitter glue to make sure this sticks to your eye shadow. I apply Paint Glow glitter glue* carefully first to my eyelid and then pack the glitter on whist its still tacky. This reduces the amount of fallout from the glitter and also assures it lasts all day long. Using the same brush I also draw a glitter tear under my eye and then shaping the glitter carefully into a triangular shape.
Time for some beautiful copper glitter chunks from Festival Face. Using the same glitter glue as before – take one glitter piece at a time with my tweezers and place them under my eye in a tear form and on the centre of my eyelid, where I placed the previous copper glitter. I found this quite difficult to achieve as the pieces kept sticking to my tweezers and where not applying to my face easily, so this did take me a bit of time. I found for my eyelid it was easier to apply the glitters by applying them with my finger and then pressing them down.
The eyeshadow needed a bit of darkening up so I use Rimmel Scandel Eyes black pencil* on my upper and lower lash line. Careful not to poke yourself in the eye like I did! Then I take Rimmel’s Glam Eyes liquid liner* to create a medium wing. I made my wing quite thick and connected it to a thin line on my upper lash line. I couldn’t make a thick line because of the glitter but I needed a very thin line so I could apply my lashes later on.
For my mascara I used the Eyeko Lash Expert mascara, I love how long and separated this mascara makes my lashes. I apply this to my top and bottom lashes prepping them for my false lashes. My favourite lashes recently have been the Eyelur 116 lashes* and I have used them in a couple of tutorials. They are perfect if your not a fan of huge thick lashes like myself but still want length and volume.
Moving onto lips I start by lining my lips using my favourite Nars lip liner, I use the shade Waimer and lightly overdraw my lips – as usual.
I compleatly forgot to highlight so I decided to do this after lining my lips. As you can probably tell I had already applied my bronzer and blush (I used Benefit Hoola bronzer* & Nars Orgasm blush if you are wondering). One of my favourite highlighters is the new Kylie Lightning Bolt highlight, it is so blinding! Using my Zoeva 129 Fan brush for my cheekbones and other face areas I decided to highlight – basically everywhere. Then I also apply it quite heavily to my inner corner using a Zoeva 230* brush.
For my lipstick I used my Rimmel Kate lipstick* in the shade 42, these are beautiful creamy lipsticks and the perfect nude colour for any makeup look. To finish my makeup off I use probably one of the best lip glosses I’ve ever used – Kevyn Aucoin Molten Lip Colour in the shade Fire Amber. I love how shiny this makes my lips look, and it some lights it has purple glitters which reflect throughout the lip gloss, it is absolutely stunning!
That is the finished look! I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and I would love to see your pictures if you do decide to recreate it for a festival you are attending this year. If you do please be sure to tag me on social media so I can give your picture a like and a cheeky comment. Thank you so much for watching and I will catch you guys later for another tutorial!
