For this tutorial I wanted to create something simple and quick to create, but still has that eye catching element to it – and the colours I ended up using gave me a unicorn vibe (who doesn’t love unicorns?).
To start off, I go straight to finishing my face makeup as I already applied foundation and powder. I take Hoola Bronzer* on a Zoeva 127/ Luxe sheer cheek* brush and apply this to my cheekbones and around my temples to warm up my face.
Next its time for blush, I use the Too Faced Sweetheart blush in the shade Something About Berry, on a Zoeva 101 / Luxe face definer* brush and apply this to the apples of my cheek and slightly up on my temples to add a pink flush to them.
Time for one of my favourite parts of makeup, highlight! I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Palette and take the shade Pink Heart on a Zoeva 105 / Luxe highlight* brush. I apply this to my cheekbones and other areas of my face I want to have the glow (basically everywhere).
Moving onto eye shadow, I start off taking the lightest transition shade from the NARS Wanted palette on a Zoeva 228 / Luxe crease* brush and apply this into my crease making sure it s blended out smoothly.
I now take Rebirth from the Lime Crime Venus palette, which is a bright coral pink and take it on the same brush, applying this over my transition shade. Then on a Zoeva 231 / Luxe petit crease* brush I focus the colour into my crease, brightening up the pink coral colour.
Next I wanted my eye shadow to have a slight hint of purple in the crease so I take this light purple shade from the NYX Vivid Brights palette* on the same Zovea 231* brush, and apply this is my outer part of my crease – blending it carefully into the pink shade.
Now I wanted to do a subtle cut crease so on a Zoeva 237 / Detail shader* brush I apply small amount of Collection Lasting Perfection concealer* and carefully cut my crease – flicking it out at the end. I find the easiest way to do this is by putting a small amount of concealer on my eye lid and looking up so the concealer transfers to my lid. This gives a guideline to how high you should cut the crease. I then carefully soften the edges using my Zoeva 228 / Luxe crease*.
I wanted my lids to have a rose gold vibe to them so added a light gold from my NARS palette and applied this to my lid using my finger. Then going into my Fenty Beauty Galaxy palette, I take the shade Meteor Crush on a Zoeva 234 / Luxe smokey shader* and press this on over the top of the gold shade.
To finish off my eye shadow I go back in to the Vivid Brights palette*, I take a bright pink shade on my Zoeva 231* and apply this to my outer corner of my eye and also blend this down under my eye – to tie the eye shadow all together.
Time for my favourite part of this simple makeup look, the gemstones. These gemstones are from The Gypsy Shrine and where left over pieces from other makeup looks I had done using them. I cut out one large gemstone, along with two smaller teardrop shaped gemstones. I applied these to my forehead, its self explanatory in my video. Then taking three small circle gems and apply one under the other 3 I had already applied, and then two under my eyes.
I go back to finishing off my eyes, starting with eyeliner. I create a medium black wing using Rimmel Glam eyes liquid liner*. Apologise for my crappy application, I didn’t realise it was running dry so I had to try and make my eyeliner look somewhat decent – but I failed.
I use Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil black liner and tight line my upper lash line to thicken the look of my lashes and connect my winged liner nicely. I also tried to fix the patchiness of my liquid liner but I’m pretty sure I just made it look worse.
For mascara I take one of my favourites, By Terry Terribly mascara. I have the blue one and I actually love how it looks, its not for every day but for creative looks it really makes my eyes pop – I also apply this to my bottom lashes. For lashes I used some of my favourites, Kiss Pretty lashes.
Time for glitter, I start by applying a fine pink glitter from Glitter shaker*. I first apply Paintglow glitter fixative gel* using my finger where I want to apply the glitter quickly before it dries – using my finger. Over the top I apply another layer of the gel and then tap on Festival Face pink champagne chunky glitter. I love the iridescent pink and slight silvery blues this glitter reflected, this is what gave me the unicorn vibes for this makeup look.
Nearly finished, I use Lipstick Queen Cupids Bow pencil lipstick in the shade Nymph. I didn’t feel I needed to use a lip liner with this lipstick as it was already a pencil. The consistency is not too dry either, my lips tend to get really dry and flaky – it didn’t feel uncomfortable. Last but not least I apply Super Orgasm lip gloss from NARS over the top.
That is the finished look, it is super simple and quick to create, perfect if your in a rush at a festival but also want your makeup to look on fleek. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and re-create it, I would love to see your pictures – so make sure you tag me on my social media.
