How I created this look:
First I’m taking the Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)Able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate in the shade Ivory. It is slightly the wrong colour for me. I feel very flawless and the coverage is really good.
I’m adding a tiny bit of my NARS Luminous Weightless Foundation in Siberia. It’s not a first impression but I’m going out after this and need to it match my neck a little better.
Next I’m taking Naked Skin Concealer by Urban Decay in the shade Fair Neutral. I have seen lots of people rave about this so I thought I would try it. This is going to pale out my foundation a little bit which is good. This blends out really quickly and flawlessly, I’m in love already.
Okay I like this foundation and concealer; apart from the colour it looks really nice.
Next I got the Fit Me powder by Maybelline in Translucent to set everything. It seems to just make the foundation matte. It doesn’t look cakey so that’s good. I’m also using this to set my under eyes using a Zoeva face shape brush.
First impression of my face makeup I really like it so far.
I have drugstore and high end products, just because I wanted to mix it up a little bit.
Now I’m using the Rimmel London Kate Moss Sculpting Palette in Coral Glow 002. I’m going to take the bronzer, it is a little bit shimmery I can see but it does leave a really nice glow to my skin. I applied that using a Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek brush.
I’m going to use the blush and the highlight out of this palette as well. This seems quite pigmented, there’s a little bit of powder fall out. It is very pigmented on the brush but on the face it is very suttle, I love the colour though it is really cute.
Next I’m also using the highlight from the palette. It is very pretty, also looks very nice on camera. It’s got a little bit of glitter in it but it’s very suttle.
Now I’m going to do my brows and I bought the NYX Micro brow pencil in Ash Brown. The spoolie is really good and I actually really like the colour of this is matches my eyebrows perfectly. I think if you have sparse brows this would be really good because it is really fine and you can fill in each individual hair. I’m very impressed with this. This was £8 from NYX.
Something I’ve been very excited for is the new FENTY Beauty Galaxy Palette. It has killed me not swatching this because it is just so beautiful and pretty.
Before I apply that I’m going to use this Clinique mini travel palette, it is called uptown downtown and is actually meant to be a blush. Because I don’t have any other new products I am just going to use it as a base shadow.
So excited! I bought one of the FENTY Beauty lip gloss’s in Gal On The Moon and I’m going to try and match the eye shadow to the lip gloss. It has purple and blue reflex in it. This is going to be a colourful look today, warning you now.
I’m using Ultraviolet first and applying that all over my lid, these apply best using your finger. Now I’m taking Space Owt and applying that to my outer corner using my finger again. There is quite a lot of fallout from these shadows, I have glitter all over my face and it’s not coming off, would recommend doing eyeshadow before foundation. Next I’m dipping into Cosmic Ocean and applying that to the centre of my eyelid. That colour is really pigmented and pretty. I’m now going to take this blue colour, which is called Midnight Bolt and just apply that all under my eye. I do love this blue colour, it looks really cool. I’m also applying this in my outer corner to connect these colours together.
To blend this all out I’m taking the Electric palette by Urban Decay and using the royal blue to blend the edges out. This eyeshadow look is really space girl themed and I really like it.
Now I’m taking a NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Vivid Sapphire and doing some funky eyeliner look with this, totally winging it. Get it? 😛
I’m now going to go back under my eye with Midnight Bolt and blending the eyeliner with the underneath shadow. I’m also blending out the edges of the eyeliner on my lid so it doesn’t look so harsh.
Now I’m using the NYX Sapphire Blue Slim Eye Pencil and applying that to my waterline.
Next I’m taking my Rimmel London Glam Eyes Liquid Liner and just creating a very thin line and a small flick for my false lashes and to blend the black in with the blue.
I bought the Max Factor False lash effect mascara in the colour Black / Brown. The wand is very thick so if you don’t like big wands you may not like this. It separates my lashes well but I don’t really see a false lash effect with this mascara.
This is a new product; I have used MAC Lipsticks in the past though. This is called really me and it is just a cool toned nude.
Now I’m putting the FENTY Lip gloss in Gal on the Moon, I’ve decided I’m just going to be a glittery mess today. I’m a big fan of this lip gloss, it looks super shiny and its absolutely stunning.
I think I’m going to add a little bit of Meteor Crush from the FENTY Palette and just run this under my eye near my inner corner.
For my lashes I’m using the Demi Pixies by Ardell Lashes.
I’m just going to finish with the SLAY All Day setting spray.
